 Advent is were you celebrate Christmas to help count down the days till Christmas

Dear God.

Hope is what gets me through the year and to be nice  and peace helps me to be very calm.

Love makes me love full and be caring.

Joy makes me be very sensible and to listen.

Thank you very much for giving up for us.

3 Symbols of maths

I learnt that the  3 symbols of maths are The bread and wine also the light.

The bread represents the body 

and the wine represents the blood 

The light represents Jesus in the world

Message in a Bottle

In room 6 we have been learning about narratives here is my message in a bottle.

One stormy day there were pirates on a really small old pirate ship. They found an empty bottle to write a message in. They put it in the ocean and sent it off for someone to find it. A couple of days later it washed up on the sand, a little girl picked it up and read it it said "give this key to a boat worker we are stuck in the ocean on a boat with coordinates" the little girl was scared she ran as fast as she could to the boat owner,  The boat owner said" hop on lets save them. "The little girl and the boat owner went so fast the girl called him Rocky. It took 24 minutes to get there when they got there the boat was a inch from going under water. The pirates jumped onto the boat and said "thank you for saving us", Rocky said "it's my pleasure "then they were all happy because the pirates had been saved.  In the end they lived happy ever after.

I enjoyed writing  this,  the challenging part was writing all this on my blog.

Noah's ark

We have been learning about the bibble i retold the story about Noah's ark.

I enjoined adding pictures in.

I found it hard to write with the pictures because I had to write what it recommends.

What do you enjoy about it?

Samoan Language Week

 In room 6 we have been learning about Samoa. I enjoyed learning about what Samoan people wear. The Samoan people wear Lava lava, the Lava lava are very colourful.

 I was most interested in the language, it was fun to learn to count to 10 in Samoan.

I also read a book called White Sunday in Samoa. This is an activity I completed about the book.

We also read the book Mophead written by Selina Tusitala Marsh. Selina is a  Samoan poet and has meet many famous people including Barack Obama the president of the USA. The book is about her and how she got teased about her fuzzy hair, I liked how she stood up to the people that teased her.

 In class we have been learning about the Mass and comparing to party events.

Ferrymead

Hi on Wednesday we went to ferrymaed.  my class got to dress up and bake the saddest thing was when my finger cut. but the funnest thing was the train it was nice and cold me and my friends played on the play ground. what do you like about ferrymaed. 

Cross country.

 

Hi on Wednesday room 6 did cross country and for part of our run we went out of our school it was hard for me because my legs started to hurt and it made me slow down, but at least i tried and trying is the best thing to do to get better at it.

Flowers are colourful and soft. They are small, they can be helpful with pollen to, make honey. I don´t like honey because of the honey.

Hi today we all went to  the Elegrege´s Show. I liked the part with the parrots, and bee and all about being kind  and respectful and no bullying. Except for when my leg and foot got sore so I asked the teacher if I can sit on the other side of her. He made me laugh. whats you favourite part?
